I haven't posted for a little while now.. primarily due to exams and the fact that my laptop decided to break without warning. Soon I shall do a proper update, but for now, just a few sparks of genius.
I'm still at university... my exams went fairly well, and I've had the best time of my life (nearly) whilst being here. Met so many people, done so many things yatta yatta etc etc etc. I decided to stay a little while longer to be a good boyfriend, and save my girlfriend having to do an awfully long trip twice in one day for her course interview... which I might add... she nailed! This time next year, she could be occupying this very room *spoookyy*. I had a thought the other day, of leaving an envelope when I have to vacate the room for summer. Its next occupant would then open this envelope, to find a welcome letter, with tips about the uni, best places to go, drinking games... and warnings.. such as the strange fact that this flat in particular seems to be the "break in flat". Another reason to stay here is because there are certain topics on my course, such as neurophysiology and any of Fangs'/Monicas' lectures, that I do not understand in the slightest... soooo I decided to stay here to compile notes from the library books. This plan was not very well thought through, as so far, all I've done is complete nearly a full season of fifa, and renewed my book loans. Fail.
In other news, I ended up taking a kids party, with no equipment, little speakers and a LOT of kids. Somehow I managed to do very well, and even got this compliment from a parent; "Hi Helen (birthday girls mums name) thanks so much again for inviting Ruby we have just dropped her off at nan and grandads and she is non stop talking about what a great time she had at the party. Your Nephew was fantastic - it's a challenge to entertain one child for 10 mins let alone 30+ for 2 and a half hours but he pulled it off with such ease and had the children (and parents!) doing as he asked lol! I will be getting his number and spreading the word!" Didn't think that was too bad considering I had one evening to prepare, hadn't done any parties for a while (let alone by myself and without equipment), and I only did it to help out my Aunt (Helen) - who desired a crazy amount of entertaining time!
So yeah, that's pretty much it.. struggling to find christmas presents and the motivation to revise. Looking forwards to new years... and very proud of Amy for sticking at it and getting her more than deserved university place.
